Insulation technology have many potential packaging applications
Chill Buddy is a lightweight insulation material that offers a green alternative to expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam. Although currently only used to manufacture cooler bags, Chill Buddy insulation technology has the potential to be used in a range of packaging applications. The temperature-controlling packaging material offers some good advantages over conventional insulated blanket technology. Retail stores throughout Europe are using the technology for shrouds over roll cages and pallets in the supply chain. This maintains chilled conditions for more than 3.5 hours and is particularly useful in environments with limited refrigeration space.
