Shared learnings from Tesco reuse trials with Loop
Tesco are aiming to remove 5 billion single-use plastic products by 2025, and believe reuse will help them achieve their ambition as part of their 4Rs strategy to Remove, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
The leading supermarket chain published their Tesco Reuse Report 2022 after conducting the UK’s largest ever reusable packaging supermarket trial. The ambitious project was run with reuse specialists Loop to explore both online and in-store shopping behaviours.
The aim of the challenge was to evaluate which reuse systems work and what formats could be implemented at scale in the future. Tesco are proving their commitment to reuse by sharing their learnings and presenting their findings at our exclusive In-site Event.
